La Dragon

 Hi everyone, me again!!

This time I'm back with another restaurant, this time it is a Chinese restaurant in Kilmarnock called La Dragon. 

I've only been to La Dragon one time over the years that it has been in Kilmarnock, and loads of people in the town rave about it and all love it. 

The establishment is lovely inside, you enter the doors and can either go downstairs to the main restaurant or upstairs to the Champagne bar. 

The only time I've eaten at La Dragon was just earlier this year, in January for my friend's birthday. The service was great and the staff were very attentive to the 8 of us that were dining together. As far as menus go, the food menu is quite extensive and there is so much to chose from, from chicken dishes, beef dishes, seafood dishes, as well as a large range of sides dishes. The drinks menu is also great, with a large range wines, beers, spirts and cocktails to chose from, as well as soft drinks. 

My cocktail of choice this particular night was a passionfruit mojito, and then a strawberry daiquiri. Both tasted really nice. 

I ordered a Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style with noodles and then shared some salt and chilli fries with the rest of the table. The meal was lovely and enjoyable, however I do feel that the prices can be a bit steep for what it is, but other than that, I have no complaints. 

Overall, La Dragon is a lovely establishment within Kilmarnock and is a great asset to the town. The food and drinks is great as well as the service the fantastic service from the staff. However my only downside is that it is quite an expensive night out.
